We stayed at a rustic motel recently for a family vacation. The motel was located right next to a beautiful river, which was securely fenced to ensure the safety of our children. The kids loved playing in the adjacent play area while we relaxed in the hot tub. The owner and her family were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay enjoyable.
The shower in our room was a bit small.

This hidden gem in Dubois, WY pleasantly surprised us with its cleanliness and well-maintained grounds. The motel's location right on the Wind River provided a peaceful and secluded atmosphere. The cozy sitting area, complete with comfortable chairs and a windbreak, allowed us to enjoy the river all to ourselves. The bed was exceptional, thanks to the gel topper provided. We also appreciated the friendly staff and their willingness to assist us in finding our cabin despite arriving after dark.
The shower was on the smaller side, which may not be suitable for those who prefer more space. Additionally, the motel had a slightly old-fashioned feel and lacked sufficient power sockets in convenient locations, such as by the bed or table.

My husband and I were on a motorcycle tour and decided to take a break at this delightful gem of a place right on Wind River. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and neat everything was, and the well-kept grounds were a bonus. The small sitting area right by the river gave us a peaceful and private feeling, and the chairs and windbreak were perfect. The bed was outstanding, with a gel topper that made it even more comfortable. Lisa and Nathan were incredibly accommodating, and the hot breakfast catered by a local restaurant was a nice touch. The rooms were clean and fresh, with a fridge and microwave for convenience. We couldn't have asked for a better location, close to the National Parks and with a friendly and helpful motel manager. This place exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it.

The value for money at this little gem of a place by Wind River was exceptional. The room was more like a suite with separate living room and kitchen, and the facilities were excellent. The setting was beautiful, right next to the river with a peaceful outside seating area. The staff at Chinook Winds Motel were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Food for breakfast could have been more substantial and it would have been nice to have a designated eating area instead of having to carry it out of the office.
